HSLS offers two collections and a variety of services to serve the needs of history of medicine scholars and researchers.
History of Medicine Research Support
The HSLS Historical Collections are housed in the Falk Rare Book Rooms and are available for viewing by appointment.
History of Medicine Collection
Materials are located through the library and may can be checked out or scanned. This circulating collection has also numerous facsimiles and reprints of important medical texts.
Researchers from other institutions
- Please request copies/scans of materials via your home institution’s interlibrary loan services.
- Fees vary depending on the material, and copies generally will be available within 48 hours.
