CLC Genomics Workbench for Microbial Genomics Research

Upcoming Classes

We have no upcoming HSLS live classes currently scheduled on this topic. Contact us for options.

This class will provide an introduction to the use of CLC Genomics Workbench for microbial genomics analysis. Participants will learn how to access the CLCbio Genomics Server hosted by Pitt CRC, and will be introduced to the workflows and databases available in CLCbio. The workshop will cover amplicon-based analysis, including quality control (QC), OTU clustering and abundance, alpha and beta diversities, taxonomic analysis, and functional and drug resistance analysis.

Upon completing this class, you should be able to:
  • access the CLCbio Genomics Server hosted by Pitt CRC
  • overview of Microbial Genomics Analysis workflows and databases in CLC
  • Amplicon-based analysis – QC, OTU clustering and abundance, Alpha and Beta diversities
  • taxonomic analysis - QC, taxonomic profiling
  • functional and drug resistance analysis
